Frequently asked questions
Are the group classes suitable for me?
Our group classes are specifically designed for people who have been diagnosed with a long-term health condition. All classes are low impact and offer ways to make a movement easier or more challenging. You must be able to move about unaided to benefit from our in-person classes. For seated class alternatives visit our online membership.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes and trainers.
Is there anything else I need to bring to my sessions
- A water bottle
- Towel (optional)
You will be advised before your session if there is any additional equipment, I would like you to bring along.

What should I eat before my exercise class?
We recommend you eat 2-3 hours before your workout. If you eat 45-60 minutes prior to your exercise session, choose foods that are simple to digest and contain mainly carbohydrates and some protein.
What are the benefits of participating in a group class?
Group classes offer various benefits including increased motivation, accountability, social interaction, structure, variety and expert guidance. Our group classes will also help you improve your strength, fitness, balance, and mobility in a fun environment.
Is one group class a week enough for me or would I need to do more exercise outside of the session?
Our group classes are a great starting point if you are new to exercise or looking for a fun way to experience the benefits of exercise in a social environment. However, one session a week will get minimal results and it is important that you stay active outside of these classes. I highly recommend joining the Bounce Back Online Community which will give you access to online classes, resources, and further support to compliment your training.
